“When arriving we only planned to stay for a couple of days, but quickly decided to extend our stay. We strongly recommend Parco del Gargano. The campsite feels very spacious and care-free. You can put up your tent pretty much anywhere, no pre-determined spots. You are especially lucky when going outside of the main season, when temperatures are truly ideal. Lago di Verano, is a close-by naturist beach. There are also many authentic Italian towns in the vicinity. We’re sure to return.“

“We first came to Parco del Gargano in May 2016. We were received with incredible warmth. After retiring, we planned to travel through Italy without stopping at any given place for more that a few days. We ended up staying for six weeks and three days. The feeling of acceptance, and equivalence we experience was truly heartwarming. We feel that is the defining characteristic that elevates this place from other similar campsites. There is plenty of personal contact between staff and campers, you are allowed to help in the kitchen, and all staff members seemed very friendly. The terrain itself is gorgeous, and designed with love by the owners. When first entering, it felt as if we were entering a fairy tale forest, such beautiful nature. The surrounding area offers many nice villages and other beautiful nature sights. After fourty years of naturism this campsite would definitely go into our top 2. You can truly find the spirit of equivalence and respect for all that is embedded in the naturism idea.”

“We came here on the recommendation of friends of our who told us it was an amazing naturist campsite in Southern Italy. They told us it was being run by Maria. We googled Southern Italy naturist campsite, Maria, and voila! We are e-mail our friends as soon as possible that they should visit as well Cordial and care-free It’s perfect, completely care-free and nearly no rules. That’s what makes it so amazing compared to other campsites, no numbers, no restrictions. The heartfelt reception: what kind of drink would you like? Take a tasty beer and they’ll come sit with you. We really recommend this campsite; the weather is always nice. We were surprised to find out that it does rain occasionally. Dinner is always a delicious as well as cozy experience, especially when Maria makes the risotto with fruit de mer. I’d recommend people to come here just for that. The fact that Maria mostly does the cooking herself strongly influences the quality of the food. There are also great beaches in close proximity. A quick 3,5 km drive and you’ll be right there. After settling in, it is truly amazing here. We also felt free to keep our things outside and leave everything open since the campsite feels really safe.”
